Mr. Murtaz Kikoria was elected as an independent member of the Supervisory Board in June 2019. From December 2021, he serves as Chairman of the Supervisory Board. Mr. Murtaz has 25 years of experience in finance and banking.

In 2016 - 2018 Murtaz Kikoria served as a member of the Supervisory Board and Vice President of the National Bank of Georgia. In 2015 - 2016 he served as a Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Finance in Bank of Georgia. He also was an acting Chief Executive Officer of BG Bank (Ukraine).

Besides financial and banking industry, Mr. Kikoria has the experience of healthcare management: In 2012-2014 he served as a Chief Executive Officer of JSC Insurance Company Aldagi BCI and a Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Compliance at Georgia Healthcare Group.

In 2005-2007 Murtaz Kikoria served as a Senior Banker at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

In 2000-2005 he served as a Head of Banking Supervision and Regulation at the National Bank of Georgia. Prior to joining the National Bank of Georgia, he held various senior positions at United Georgian Bank (now VTB Bank) and Exim Bank (Now SilkRoad Bank).

During his career he served as a Member of the Supervisory Board of various banks in Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Ukraine and Georgia.
