Mr. Irakli Rukhadze has been a member of the Supervisory Board since September 2017. Until December 2021, he was also the Chairman of the Supervisory Board. Mr. Irakli Rukhadze has a long-standing involvement in the private equity industry as an investor, manager and advisor.
Mr. Rukhadze is a founding partner of Hunnewell Partners (www.hunnewellpartners.com). Until 2018, Hunnewell Partners was a multi-jurisdictional asset management firm with offices in London, Miami, Tbilisi, Kiev, Malaga and the BVI. Hunnewell Partners managed assets in the US, Western and Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union as well as the wealth of Ultra High Net Worth individuals based in Western Europe.
Since 2018, Hunnewell Partners has restructured its relationship with its investors and is currently managing the private wealth of its shareholders and their families. Hunnewell Partners currently focuses on private equity portfolio in Georgia and litigation funding in UK.
Hunnewell Partners’ portfolio in Georgia includes some of the country’s largest and best known companies such as Magticom, Rustavi Metallurgical Plant, Heidelberg Cement, Liberty Bank, IDS-Borjomi and Imedi TV. Mr. Rukhadze serves on corporate boards of these and other companies in Georgia and abroad.
Hunnewell Partners litigation management experience accounts for over 60 different cases in multiple jurisdictions, including some of the largest civil cases in the English courts over the last decade. The vast majority of these cases have either ended with victory or successful settlements.
Mr. Rukhadze is a former Director of MIG (formerly known as Metromedia International Group, a US publically traded company), which owns telecommunications assets in Georgia, including Magticom, the leading telecommunications provider in the country.
Mr. Rukhadze was CEO of Caucasus Advisors, LLC, manager of $100 million US dollar Caucasus Fund, LLC with offices in Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenia. At the same time, Mr. Rukhadze served as director of AEGIS, manager of Commonwealth Property Investors, LLC, a premier US-Russian real estate investment company. Mr. Rukhadze’s investors included AT&T Pension Trust and Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC), among others.
Mr. Rukhadze started his career at McKinsey & Company, Inc., where he spent over 4 years and worked in the US, Western and Easten Europe including Russia, specializing in telecommunications, high technology and corporate finance.
A native of Georgia, Mr. Rukhadze is currently a US citizen. He holds an MBA from Tuck school at Dartmouth University. Mr. Rukhadze has written three books on subjects of general management and corporate finance while working at Mckinsey & Company, Inc
Mr. Bruno Balvanera was elected as independent member of the Supervisory Board in August 2022.
Magda Magradze was elected as a independent member of supervisory board of JSC Liberty Bank in August 2019.
Mr. Mamuka Tsereteli was elected as a independent member of supervisory board of JSC Liberty Bank in December 2018.
Mr. Murtaz Kikoria was elected as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of JSC Liberty Bank in December 2021.
